The Apprentice turned in all of her duct tape projects, so I can show them off now!!

When the 4H leader said that there was a new duct tape category, I was super excited.

I started searching on the internet for something unique that she could do.

I stumbled across the skirts, and then found this pleated one.

I did very little to help, even though I was dying to jump in.

Ultimately, she ended up with the skirt that actually FITS her (yes, I did do the fitting part!),

She also had a necklace, a headband, a journal cover, and a handbag. IMG_5471

All in all, a very successful foray with Duck Brand Duct Tape.  And, I’m not getting a dime for saying that.   But if they’d send me some for free…………….

peace and pieces,

  1. This is really cool! What is on the back side of the duct tape? Do you put another layer of tape (sticky side to sticky side), or do you put actually fabric as a lining?

So very neat; she did a wonderful job of it! I’m dying to make something out of candy wrappers (like the dresses on display in the Water Tower mall in downtown Chicago)! 🙂
